...is walking to an audition. Listening to their favorite podcast, sending the group chat the link, editing a grid-worthy pic in their new outfit from last night. They approach Pearl 500, take the elevator, sign in and sit. They get into a conversation with the person sitting next to them and they're exchanging IG handles when their name is called.
When it's time to go in, they walk straight up to the piano, take a deep breath, and share with the team how they would approach this role. They leave and stop at Shmackaries for a cookie before meeting pals for lunch.
...is walking to an audition. They obsessively repeat the lines in their head to make sure they remember how they want their face to look each time they have to repeat the word ‘door’. They hastily run up the stairs because the elevator is full, and once they get to the top, they only have three minutes before their appointment time.
Once in the room, they’re distracted and forget to answer the question, “how have you been?,” and immediately start asking how many counts are before the first lyric. And when they leave, they're compulsively refreshing Callback Corner.
You could call your agents and ask if they can get you into Bob Krakower’s
class, wait nine months until you get off the waitlist, neglect your to-do list,
and babysit for the rest of eternity.
or, you can take responsibility for your career.
If it’s not painfully obvious by now, guess which person I was for the first
TEN YEARS of my career? And guess which choice I made when I finally
confronted myself about the progress I wasn’t making.
Consider this an opportunity to finally, finally put yourself first.
I started cultivating genuine relationships. I started to fall in love with singing all over again. I booked my first TV gig, took my first last bow, started saying yes to last minute gigs that normally would’ve sent me right into fight or flight, and trusted for the first time ever that I can let my work, my ideas, my creativity, my energy, and my authenticity speak for itself.
The hardest part? Actually making the choice to change my approach. Admitting to myself that I couldn’t sustain the nerves and self-doubt for much longer. Realizing the fear of being seen was projecting out into every rehearsal room I walked into, keeping me small, quiet, and a nervous wreck. Grasping the idea that my people-pleasing, perfectionist, black & white mindset created a life I didn’t know I signed up for- one I didn’t even want.

You have the agency, self-respect, and authority to get the hardest part over with right now. No leaps of faith, no relying on luck, no blaming yourself under the guise of ‘manifestation.’
... and I'd love to help you get there.
"In just a few short weeks, I have noticed a difference in the discomfort and inflammation in my voice from applying their ideas and corrections.
— aj m. | dancer and teaching artist
I recently started taking vocal lessons with Kerri to help with vocal fatigue after long nights of teaching dance…they have been wonderfully helpful in teaching the proper foundational mechanics of safe and efficient vocal production for both speaking and singing. They truly listen to your questions and concerns, and take the time to respond in a respectful, concise and considerate way. If you are looking for an effective, virtual, affordable voice teacher I highly recommend Kerri!
"I wasn’t sure how it would go doing a voice lesson virtually, but Kerri was incredible from the first minute. they go above and beyond in every aspect.
— molly w. | parent of student
I couldn’t believe how quickly Tatum caught on and it was because Kerri’s teaching style is so informative, positive, and fun. Tatum has grown so much in such a short time and has gained so much confidence. We are so thankful we saw them in a musical and decided to follow them on Instagram. We are confident Kerri could help any voice student at any level. They are phenomenal!
“Kerri has a precise eye and ear for discovering the subtle nuances of a scene. They have helped me explore bold, clear, and natural choices that have leveled up my self tape submissions!
— Ryan H.
